Trabzonspor filed criminal case against Emre after he racially abused John Mikel Obi

Trabzonspor have released a statement supporting John Obi Mikel after his clash with Emre Belozoglu as a result of being racially abused by the latter.

Former Super Eagles captain, John Mikel Obi was last Saturday involved in a brawl with Fenerbahce's Emre Belozoglu following an alleged racial abuse of the former Chelsea FC midfield enforcer

It's not the first time that Emre has been accused of saying such racist remarks to to black players as he once did same to former Ivory Coast international Didier Zokora and without an apology attempted to shake the hands of Zokora in the reverse tie which the former Elephant star declined.

In a statement released by Trabzonspor,

"Racism is a refuge for helpless and ignorant people. Our football player, Obi Mikel, condemns the racist attacks after the Fernabahce match;We want to present it to the public that will have filled a criminal complaint against the attackers".
